The LAMARCA project was present at the COAST-HF international colloquium, a meeting dedicated to the analysis of long-term in situ observations using automated platforms.
Since the early 2000s, numerous high-frequency monitoring programmes have been developed to collect time series with temporal resolutions of less than one day and spatial resolutions of less than 100 metres.
COAST-HF is a forum for sharing advances that enable the detection of highly variable episodic events, providing invaluable value for both operational monitoring and the study of fundamental processes.
During the colloquium, two talks (S. Bertin, A. Rubio) highlighted the advances of the LAMARCA project in the use of HF radars and Lagrangian techniques for the study of transport and convergence structures in the coastal zone with application to marine debris, among other issues.
